We are based at Lake Whitney (South of Fort Worth, Texas). Listed below are our base prices for private lessons at Lake Whitney and the San Marcos River. We do travel to teach. For us to come to you, we add on gas and time of travel. Other additional fees include:
- $10 course fee if not a member of the ACA (https://americancanoe.org/)
- $25 gear rental fee
- $25 rushed insurance fee if lesson is not booked 12 days in advance
- 3% processing fee through Venmo and PayPal
Courses are non-refundable and non-transferable unless we cancel for unforeseen circumstances.
Introduction to Kayaking on Lake Whitney
Description: Beginner focused, this course covers safety, gear, rescues, and strokes. The full day adds on how to transport your kayak on your vehicle, advanced strokes, and different types of rescues.

San Marcos River Course
Description: This spring fed river is located in San Marcos, TX and is a refreshing 72 degrees year round. The course covers safety, how to read rivers, gear, strokes, and so much more.
